Welcome to Shuk ("we", "our", or "us"). We believe your recipes and cooking habits belong entirely to you. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how it is used, and how you maintain full control over your data.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Credentials: When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication identifiers provided by Supabase Auth (or Apple/Google sign-in).
• Your Recipes and Collections: Recipes you create, photos you upload, and collections you organize are stored securely in your private cloud vault.
• Imported Content: URLs, web links, or text you provide when using our import feature.
• Subscription & Purchase Data: When you subscribe to Shuk Pro, transactions are processed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Syncing Across Devices: Enabling you to view and cook recipes seamlessly on your phones, tablets, or shared screens.
• Recipe Extraction & Processing: When you import a recipe from a URL or text, we send the content to trusted AI processing providers (such as Anthropic Claude or Google Gemini) solely to extract ingredients, steps, and cooking times. Your recipe data is never used to train foundational AI models.
• Recipe Sharing: When you generate a share link or invite a collaborator to a collection, the recipe title, ingredient preview, and image are temporarily served via our web preview page for visitors you authorized.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We work only with reputable infrastructure partners to deliver our service:

• Supabase: Encrypted cloud database and secure authentication.
• RevenueCat: Native subscription entitlement validation with Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Cloudflare: Secure content delivery and web share page hosting.
• Anthropic & Google Cloud: LLM APIs utilized strictly for recipe parsing without retaining personal identifiable data.

4. No Third-Party Ads or Data Selling

We will never sell, rent, or monetize your personal data. We do not integrate third-party ad networks, tracking pixels, or cross-app surveillance SDKs.

5. Delete Account & Data Rights

You have full ownership of your data at all times:

• In-App Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated recipes, images, and collections at any time directly in the app under Profile → Account → Delete Account.
• Immediate Purge: When requested, your records are deleted from our active database immediately and all authentication tokens are invalidated.
